About Us

Hi, I'm Katie, owner and designer at Beachglass Gifts!

 Former healthcare provider, entrepreneur and born-again artist, I personally design everything here at Beachglass Gifts. I started my artistic career in 2018, inspired by a love of dance, the emotions of life's journey, the beauty of my home in Puerto Rico and the support of my wonderful husband of 30+ years. 

After the passing of my mother from Alzheimer's, who I was the sole caregiver for during the last 10 years of her life, Beachglass Gifts was born. I wanted to build a shop that's inclusive of all walks of life and as expansive as the sea. A purchase from us helps support a couple in their mission of helping protect the beaches and stray animals of our island home. We spend our free time connecting with local shelters (which there are too few of!) and walking the beaches to help remove trash and leave food for animals until we can find homes for them.
